ADRF 2025: Where AI Meets Robotics

On 23-24 September 2025 PAL Robotics will take the stage at the ADRA Forum (ADRF) in Stavanger, Norway, representing the PILLAR project. ADRF is one of Europe’s most dynamic gatherings on the future of artificial intelligence, bringing together experts who are shaping how AI will support resilience in society, industry, and beyond.

PILLAR-Robots and AI

For PILLAR, the connection is clear: intelligent robots are where AI leaves the lab and enters the real world. PAL will showcase how mobile manipulation and human–robot interaction are being pushed forward within the project, bridging advanced AI with robots that can navigate, perceive, and act in our everyday environments. In a setting where AI’s role in resilience is under the spotlight, PILLAR’s contribution shows how robotics makes that resilience tangible.

And the journey doesn’t stop there. PILLAR is already working to go back to Stavanger at the European Robotics Forum (ERF) 2026, where it will help organise its third workshop in a row on mobile manipulation. The workshop will be once again held in collaboration with several “sister projects,” strengthening synergies across Europe and ensuring that breakthroughs are shared, debated, and amplified within the community.

From ADRF to ERF, PILLAR continues to build bridges between AI and robotics, helping Europe lead the way in creating smart, resilient, and human-centred robotic systems.
