Developing communications to the public on the aims of PILLAR-Robots

The PILLAR-Robot partners will take advantage of these opportunities throughout the project duration in some of the following ways:

Newsletter on the website: The PILLAR-Robots newsletter on the PILLAR-Robots website serves as a regular update to inform interested individuals, stakeholders, and the general public about the latest developments, achievements, and milestones of the project. The newsletter content should include articles, interviews, case studies, and any other relevant information related to the PILLAR-Robots project. It aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the project’s goals, progress, and impact, fostering knowledge sharing.

Participation at events: we recognise the significance of participating in various events to raise awareness about the PILLAR-Robots project and connect with relevant stakeholders. All partners actively attend conferences and trade shows related to robotics, artificial intelligence, healthcare, and assistive technologies. By engaging in these events, we aim to showcase the advancements and outcomes of the PILLAR-Robots project to a wider audience, including researchers, industry experts, policymakers, and potential end-users. Event participation may involve giving talks, organising workshops, and networking with other participants. So far this year, partners have taken part in events including the European Robotics Forum (ERF2023), Advanced Factories and ICRA, and will soon take part in Automatica, as well as other events later in 2023.

Other events and workshops: In addition to participating in external events, we aim to organise a project workshop in Q1 2024, as well as in 2026. The workshops will provide an opportunity for attendees to gain hands-on experience with the project’s technologies, interact with experts, and contribute their insights and feedback. By organizing such events, PILLAR-Robots aims to create a collaborative environment for knowledge exchange and community building around the project.

Publications: Thanks to our consortium’s vast expertise we  actively publish research papers including for robotics conferences, and articles in reputable scientific journals. These publications serve as valuable resources for the academic community, industry professionals, and other interested parties. We ensure that the publications are accessible to a broad audience, thereby maximizing the project’s visibility and impact within the research and innovation communities.

By employing these dissemination strategies, PILLAR-Robots aims to effectively communicate the goals, achievements, and societal impact of the project. In order to actively engage with diverse stakeholders, foster collaboration, and contribute to the wider knowledge and adoption of robotic solutions.
